Virtual Reality (VR) flight over Bath

This Virtual Reality flight was first presented in 2009 at our exhibition on Virtual Reality at the Réfectoire des Cordeliers, and you may realize what a feat it meant at the time.

EXERCISE:

Can you discover more VR reconstructions and explain how they have favoured the actual visits of the sites, rather than discourage people to visit the actual place. This has been a long debate, but figures quickly proved, for instance for Le Louvre, that VR has contributed to increase the number of visitors, not the reverse. Give your personal point of view using arguments for and against VR.
