    Le CEMA relance ses journées d’études annuelles. Pour cette première réédition, nous aimerions célébrer avec vous les 40 ans des séances de lecture de vieil et moyen anglais en Sorbonne initiées par André Crépin en 1984, et nous avons arrêté trois thématiques, pour des communications de 25 minutes :

    - André Crépin ou ses objets de recherche de prédilection (Beowulf, Bède, Chaucer…)

    - les œuvres ou manuscrits abordés lors des séances de lecture (liste exhaustive ici)

    - état de la recherche sur l’anglais médiéval en France : présentations de travaux de chercheuses et chercheurs, de projets de recherche en cours ou en préparation

    Nous nous rencontrerons les 25 et 26 octobre 2024, dans le Quartier Latin, salle à confirmer en fonction de nos effectifs. Pour cela, nous vous demandons de remplir ce formulaire, que vous souhaitiez participer ou seulement assister, le vendredi ou le samedi.

    The Centre d'Etudes Médiévales Anglaises at Sorbonne-Université is relaunching its annual journées d'étude, and would like to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Old and Middle English reading sessions initiated by André Crépin in 1984. We are inviting 25-minute papers on three topics

    
    

    - André Crépin and/or his favourite medieval topics (Beowulf, Bede, Chaucer...)

    
    

    - the works or manuscripts which the reading group has explored over the years (dauntingly complete list here!)

    
    

    - recent research, publications, projects or work in progress in the field of medieval English studies
    

    
    

    We shall convene in the Latin Quarter -- room to be announced depending on attendance numbers, so please fill in this form whether you just wish to attend or would like to give a paper!
